As a dog trainer, what facilities do you have?
We have our own purpose built indoor and outdoor training areas are fully equipped to ensure that we can offer training in a safe and secure environment for both dog and owner.
Are you First Aid trained?
We are. Our head dog trainers, Sam & Roger are certified First Aiders and Canine First Aiders.
Do you do children's classes?
We run fun training days for kids are for kids aged 10-16years old. You will need your own dog (no dogs allowed that have aggression problems or the child cannot handle). Our dog trainers will be on hand throughout the day to help.
Fun training days for kids are held in the school holidays. These are open to all children who have a love of dogs. Not only will they have fun training their own dogs to do obedience, agility and a few tricks, they will also learn how to care for their dog and how to act around strange dogs. Usually we try to arrange a visit from our local dog warden or other dog specialist so that the children can find out more about people who work with dogs.
Do you offer canine first aid training?
We have previously offered these workshops and plan to offer more in the future. Canine First Aid workshop is ideal for anyone living or working with dogs. This first aid workshop will cover accidents that could happen in normal daily life, such as poisoning or deep cuts. An expert speaker will deliver easy to follow advice and then demonstrate relevant techniques. You will then be able to practice these techniques on your own dog with the help of the speaker and our trainers.
Can you help me with questions about canine legislation?
Yes!! A knowledge of Dog Law is important for all dog owners and those working with dogs. Our seminars will inform you about law related to dogs and dog ownership. This ranges from information about welfare, dangerous dogs, noise nuisance, through to issues concerning who's property a dog may be following a divorce!
