Dog trainer in Holbeach creates awesome new website!!!
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme provides a quality standard of training for dogs and their owners. Classes range from puppies to older dogs. Our dog trainers delivering the training and tests for each of the awards place emphasis on socialised dogs that are easily controlled. There is also a focus on giving owners an understanding of basic dog welfare and law.
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Award aims to produce a dog that will walk and
behave in a controlled manner on the lead, will stay in one position on command, will allow its
owner to clean, groom and inspect it, a dog that will walk and behave in a happy natural manner,
under control on the lead. The dog must also be able to be positioned by its handler for inspection
i.e. stand, sit or lie down on either side or on its back, all on the lead. The dog must come to hand when called.
The Bronze award aims to provide the handlers with a basic knowledge of understanding and training their canine
There are four levels to the scheme covering puppies and older dogs. These are:
Our dog trainers run these courses over a 4-8 week period with an assessment at the end of your course. During the assessment you and your dog will perform the exercises you have practiced during training and there will be some questions for you to answer about caring for your dog. Certificates of Achievement are awarded to owners and their dogs who have successfully passed the scheme's tests.
Our Head Trainers, Roger and Sam are approved Bronze & Silver Good Citizen Award Examiners..
The Scheme is aimed at all dogs including puppies whether they are Kennel Club registered or not, there is no age limit. Dogs entering for the Bronze test are not required to have completed the Puppy Foundation. We are local to Holbeach, Spalding, Wisbech, Kings Lynn and Peterborough.
